The New Craftmaker exhibit at Decorex 2024

The Natural Room - an exhibition by The New Craftmaker at Decorex, featuring a range of baskets from UK makers.

We designed and created three rope-coil baskets for the show, combining contemporary and traditional techniques. All three pieces were created with hand-cut willow from our own osier beds, and twisted hazel grown in a family member’s garden; meaning all materials used were grown, gathered and then woven within a 2 mile radius, making them a unique collection of works.
